The new F3318 ASTM international standard supports aluminum alloy in additive manufacturing.

The new ASTM international standard will support the manufacture of aluminum alloy parts through additive manufacturing.The new standard covers some types of addition manufacturing parts (AlSi10Mg) that are produced using a laser powder bed fusion (l-pbf) process.This standard will help to define a set of consistent requirements that both users and manufacturers agree to support for the purchase of additive manufacturing parts.
